So looks like my Dinosaur Bischir decided to make a late night snack of my Betta. And my Betta was like 3 inches long and not the smallest fish in my tank. This isn't the first time either, I had a female Betta that everyone told me jumped out of my hooded tank when she went missing. Anyways is his eating of bettas normal? Also you can see my Betta in the picture, will he recover? He was still alive when I found him this morning and is still moving his front fins and he's breathing and everything... Or should I put him out of his misery? T-T

I would go ahead and put the betta out of its misery as I do not believe it will actually survive the wounds inflicted unfortunately.  For future reference a bichir will eat or attempt to eat anything that will fit in their mouth so I suggest you do not add any more bettas to your tank.
