Yea I'm with sorrell this time... cc's just asking for your opinion and she feels really bad for the fishie already and you saying things about how you dont care if the betta dies or anything... you should really apologize to cc... i think you hurt her feelings... I mean at least you coulda said "Oh I'm sorry to hear that cc" or something instead of telling her about how you hate bettas n gouramis and how you dotn care if the fish die or not... I know that all of you fish keepers see fish die quite often but cc was just so sad to see a betta suffer in a lfs that she couldnt rescue.... wouldnt you feel bad if you were her? If you didnt, I dont even know why you even keep fish

Ok, I think this is the first time that betta_lova and I've agreed on something... (what is the world coming to?!) But I don't think they should HAVE TO apologize. I feel that if you post something on the forums, you're asking for a response, like it or not. But then again, you don't have to keep dwelling on something once you've made your point and upset the person that created the thread.

I'm sorry to hear about your strife CC. I feel the same way everytime I see a fish that's ill. And it's true, you can't save every fish that is sick or even the ones that will potentially get sick, BUT you can do whatever little you are able to do. You can only take it as a lesson learned and learn from your mistakes (can I get any more cliches in?). I'm sure you'll go through the same trials and tribulations as time moves on, but you'll feel more confident about what you have to do the next time you're faced with the same dilemma.

I believe in karma and well, the less said the better, whatever you say may come back 10 folds.

I also, in some aspect, agree with samthefishman also, but only if the example that you've given us is man made. I believe then that it becomes a serious problem. Otherwise, nature does take its course.

Yet, that still doesn't justify your right to judge the quality of life, only in the end is that determined.
