Desktop Tank

so i got this tank when i first started keeping fish, and it was tosmall to do anything with, so it was my hospital tank. but i wanted a tank on my computer desk so i unburried it and set it up. plugged it all in and flipped the light switch and this little dinky light turned on... not impressed, so i went to the hard ware store got a nice light fixture, then to the fish store, got a 50/50 white/blue florecent light and took the old fixture out ( a dremel tool and an a-xacto knife and some elboe greese ) and this is what i got


stock, 1 betta and a dwarf frog.

I don't personally like it as a betta tank. But my opinion on size aside, it does definitely need lots more plants And I see no heater?

u know what show that is? im impressed. its not that popular of a show. " big Bang Theory ". i have every episode on my computer

yea no heater, there wasnt a small enough one at my fish store, i only need like a 5 watt right? if even.
more plants huh? i just threw this together with what i had laying around. maybe ill get some more, but i thought bettas like kinda open spaces. plus i want to be able to see it.

I have seen every single episode of the big bang theory. And Sheldon is my favourite.

The mini 7.5Watt heaters that you can get would be perfect. But 5W should be 'ok'.

And yes the betta will want open swimming room. But it also needs plenty of plant cover to explore and rest in.
Oh and you can't use the excuse of not putting plants in cause you might not be able to see it...it's 2.5gals! lol.

when sheldon laughs its freakin hilarious. its an awesome show. i really hope it takes off and has many many more seasons to come.

anyway, Curiosity, since i have joined this forum, i have always respected your oppinions and i agree, ill work on getting more plants

Looks good mate, with my little dwarf puffer tank i have no heating, my flat is warm enough to maintain a constant temp between 22-24c, also have a three footer that has no heating and keeps at 22-23c....maybe iam just lucky

Big bang makes i laugh alot aswell, but a added bonus is Kaley Christine Cuoco

i used to keep dwarf puffers, i had 3 in my 10 gallon, 1 male and 2 females, great fish, i almost got 1 for this 2.5g but i didnt want to have to deal with decorating the tank to facilitate a dwarf puffer... theres about 50 of them at my LFS, i was tempted but like i said that boat has sailed...

how i met your mother is well funny... Barneys probaly the best character. i just watched 4 seasons in a week...lol



Big bang theory is anazing too. ashame there only 20mins an episode. i find the endings on them pretty crap though, no story to it. just ends just when you get all excited.. oh nice tank btw
