Dechlorinating Water Advise

But what I have trouble getting my head around is, well lets say im adding just 15L of water to my aquarium, how much would I add to declor?
0.4 of a ml? Thats crazy. How would u even messure that out? :lol:

just put in a couple of ml, it doesnt matter if you use too much. You dont have to get anal over it

Yea I suppose your right. Might have to give it a try! Im currently using tetra aquasafe and thats 5 ml for every 10L.

For small measurements under 1ml I just use 1ml syringes I picked off eBay for like £1 for 10.

I put around 1ml of seachem prime in my 8l Nano tank and that actually only has around 5/6L of water.

+1 to Seachem Prime though.

Best bang for your buck is Prime, or the powdered pond version, Safe. If you want something that removes chlorine & breaks the chlorine/ammonia bond in chloramine & nothing more pick up sodium thiosulfate crystals & mix your own dechlorinator.

Many people do water changes of 25% or less without adding anything, an older discussion of this can be found here.

Personally I use Prime and I buy it on line from Charter house aquatics they do a great price I do one order a year with other bits and peace's make the order over £50 and delivery is free :good:
