Death in quarantine

I have another question today. If a fish dies in quarantine, after disposing of the fellow, do I replace all the water In the quarantine tank? Any other hygiene measures? gwand

Others may possibly give better advice but I will make a guess. If the fish died of an injury the tank is probably fine. However, if there was an illness, I would think it best to totally tear down the tank and start it over.

It depends on the cause, really. Unidentified bacterial - tear it down and start again.
