Dead nerite snail?

In that case I agree with Pheonix - either it was already sick or the shop worker killed it if they ripped it off the tank glass.

Like I said she got it from the substrate and she was very careful with it like she didn’t yank it or anything. Maybe a fish pecked it hard enough when it was on the glass? That’s the last I saw him moving was on the glass.

No way did the fish kill it. As @essjay said, they have a very strong trapdoor. I doubt any of the fish you keep could get through that.
 
Ok. It must’ve been sick. It was very active tho.
That happens...

Even with fish. One second they look super active and the next moment they are dead. Sorry for your loss... :/
