Dead houseplant leaves

I have a couple dead houseplant leaves ( coffee plant). No fertiliser or similar is used on the houseplants.

Would these help the cycle?

I do have Nerite snails in the tank.

I'm sure there are plant leaves best not put in tanks, but a lot of my pothos leaves from plants growing out of my tanks, end up in the aquarium, when they fall off...

Dead leaves would only help minimally. They would need to decompose to make ammonia to feed the ammonia eating bacteria and the nitrite they make to feed the nitrite eaters, but leaf composition would take a long time.
