De-chlorinating

Just did a water change and forgot to add de-chlor untill the water was in the tank. so i added it direct to the tank infront of the filter outlet so it went around the tank

will it be ok??

i would say so yes, how long had it been before you realised??

I always add mine to my bucket, when filling back up...

prob about 15 -30 seconds. legged it to my room as the decholr was still there and ran back to the lounge and added the needed amount.

water changes while hung over are not a good idea

Yeah its fine to add the conditioner straight to the tank as you go, i do all my water changes this way.
