I think it will be fine as they are peaceful. Find them a susceptible to illnessses though in my experience.

No problem as these are not agressive fish, only territorial towards their own kind. So in case you want to add several gouramis to your tank,make sure it is big enough with enough hiding places so each can create their own territory (suggested 10 gallons/gouramis)

What size tank? What species of tetra? How many of each fish do you already have?

Read the pinned article on dwarf gouramies. They are very prone to disease and will not survive in an overcrowded tank or with boisterous or nippy fish. They can also be aggressive in their own right when defending their terrtory. They are not a fish to buy without research.
