Danios Fin Nipping?

i got 4 of these today and they seem to be nipping each other and have bit missing of there tails but didnt notice this in the shop is it normal for them to do this? is there a way to stop them?

How big is their tank. If it's big enough, I'd suggest getting more.

ive also got one cory too

the only problem with getting more is they take up tank space but are not really that great to look at as im still cycling i needed some hardy fish

how many more would you recommend?

IMO, a fishless cycle would be the best cycle. I'd see if I can take them back.
Any cory needs more than one to be satisfied.

i will get another asap then

the danios seem to be leaving the cory alone but are still attacking eachother

I didn't mean just one more cory. Corys prefer to be in groups of at least 5 or 6+
Danios attacking...Are you sure they're danios?

yeah just keep niping eachonthers tail they seem to be quite badly damaged

could it be fin rot?

they didnt seem to be doing it in the shop but they dont seem any worse today altho they are still chasing eachother

right from closer inspection and a little more reading up i have 3 females and 1 male

would adding something for fin rot be a good idea even know im not totally sure what it is?
