Daft Question About New Tank Ornaments.

Everything I have got for my tanks (apart from some of the filters) has been second hand. However I am being treated to some brand new decor for one of my tanks, do I need to soak them for a while first? I know this seems really odd but I have never had a new ornament before lol

Always best to give them a good wash in very hot water first, just to remove any dust or dirt that may be on them, otherwise I wouldnt worry, once washed, plop them in the tank.

Completely agree a good wash

some would say in old tank water some would say it doesnt matter your choice. I usually use old tank water but thats because if I introduce a new ornament then it is when I am cleaning the tank and doing a water change.
