Hvae been cycling a new tank for about 10 days. The ammo had dropped to zero 3 days ago and I had been adding a few drops every night as 'food'. But after testing tnoight the ammo has stayed at around 3 - 4 ppm.

What does this mean? Should I stop adding more ammo now 'til the level falls to 0 again? Can I then carry on and add a few drops to get it back to 3-4ppm and test each day and add more ammo when the level hits back to 0?

sorry no idea, i cycle my tanks with danios. I know people will probably say not to cycle with fish, but they are hardy, they can go in cold water or tropical set up. I just cycled my angelfish tank with 3 danios with no problems. Maybe someone else can help you, I don't think you are finished cycling with or without fish it takes at least a month if not more to cycle a tank, no matter what size.
