hi,
this is the first time i done a proper fishless cycle, my tanks 30 g and been going for a bout 2 and half weeks now, added some chemical bactirea (forgot the name something to speed the cycle up) and put a block of bloodworms in to give it something to cycle.
my readings now are
Ammonia 0
NO2 = 0.25
NO3 = 5
what should i do now?
add more food?
how much longer should it take to cycle?
thanks
matt

Have you read the pinned articles about this subject? I recommend doing so. I don't do fishless cycles. I usually just take one of the many filters off an existing tank and put it on the new one along with wood and gravel.

If I'm correct, you need to add ammonia in order to kick start a fishless cycle.
