Cycled Tank!

Congrats! We told ya to stick with it! Soon you will have a perfect tank with flourishing fish! And then you will be buying another tank i am sure.....lol

You were right, I'm so glad I stuck with it! :D
One last question though, is it true that copper pipes have an adverse affect on fish? All my pipes are made of copper and I get my water from the tap. Is that a thing so is this just unreliable information? I can't seem to get a straight answer from the internet.

I have heard of water picking up traces from copper water tanks as it tends to sit in them, but not from the pipes. But as long as your declorinator also deals with heavy metals you wont have a problem

OHhh okay thanks for clearing that up!
Ammonia is remaining under .25 and everything else is constant as well!
On tuesday I'll be picking up a couple of (hopefully) panda cories. The LFS said they'd try to order some for me. If not I'll probably getting more albino's or some bronze's.

Thursday I'll be getting another molly, and hopefully some plants, and sand. Can't wait! :3

Do try to up numbers of existing shoals rather than adding another small group, it's fairer to the fish and you in turn get to see much more natural behaviour and the interaction of a larger group.

As some of you may know I've had alot of problems with my tank recently.

Today, the ammonia is at 0, Nitrates at 10, and nitrate 0! This is so exciting!
Finally! I'm assuming this means I can go to water changes once a week, while monitering the ammonia of course.

I'll slowly be adding a few more fish. Maybe 4 more cories, and 1 more molly just to get some more activity in there. I'm also going to try my luck at a planted tank!

I'm so happy!

congratulations! can i ask was it a new tank cycle? and if so, how long did it take to cycle? thanks dan

What do you mean by new tank cycle?
It was a fish-in cycle (accidentally) and I'd say took about a month. But that's just a guesstimate because i didn't actually know that my tank wasn't cycled till 2 or 3 weeks ago!

soybean: When I got there they just had panda's! I asked about albinos but they said since all they received as an order was pandas, that's all they got. :/

They're so so tiny! They're like half and inch! It's so precious. They seem pretty nervous in the new tank and have been cuddling together under a couple of plastic plants for a few hours. But they seem healthy and active.

All that's left for stocking is 1 molly, and 1 more corydora! I can't wait to switch to sand but can't seem to find any online! :S
