Hello everyone,
I am planning to get some Crystal Red and breed them. Can any experts give me some advices before I start it please?
1. pH level?
2. How much light a day?
3. How much water change do they need? My tank is a 5 gallons.
4. How many times do they need to be fed a day? Or a week?
5. Temperature?
6. Are they ok to live with guppies, snails and other types of shrimp?

Anything else I need to know?

Thank so much guys!

Hi

I would not keep any fish with them, other than Otos I do not think there is a fish that wont eat baby shrimp. In Australia can be expensive.

5 gallon while a tad small will work as long as its cycled and has live plants

You could do something like this.

I had my cherry shrimp in a wide vase for a few months with nothing but some moss and would drop in some flake every now and then and although this doesn't sound amazing the small body of water was kept quite warm and they bred quite profusely, so much so I felt the need to get them a tank of their own.

Iv since moved them to a 8L nano aquarium with a filter and heater , java moss and some drift wood and but still only use some flake food once a week.
20% water change every 2 week, And they still breed like crazy, and glow bright red.

Hope this helped!
