Crossbreeding That I Don't Want

Well good luck with them.

They look to be a bottom sword of some type u have, sadly 99% sold in shops are already a guppy cross, how ever they do look nice.
Finding true endlers are difficualt but if it took them 3 months then they may of as shop stuff are very common (ie blackbar crosses)

well that may be true, i dont know much about endlers and i have only had them for 3 days but i will learn.

If you want pure endlers in the US, try SwampRiverAquatics or TampaFishMan1 on Aquabid. Both carry lots of pure endlers and SwampRiver also has lots of nice line bred pure endlers and hybrids. SwampRiver is Adrian's business name.

i guess i could order some from there. i want to see what the fry come out to look like. but first i want to find out if my endlers are pure or not, i will try to post clearer pictures. which one of those 2 companies do you recommend.

well the best thing is stink to what u have for know.

If you want more then you can get several more tanks like I do and the your be sorted for them all ;)

Thats my problem i don't have space for another tank or else i would have separated the new endlers i got. i mtrying to get another tank but i dont know what the minimum size would be for endlers. If you guys could tell me...

You could get away with a 10 gallon for a little while but mine filled a 45, a 20H a 29 and lots of other spaces in less than a year. I only started with 4 pairs of pure wild types from Tampafishman1.

I will try to empty a 10 gal. tank but all my tanks are full right now with cichlids and livebearers. I cant wait for the the fry to show up. :fun:

Hey Oldman how did you take such a good picture of your endler, i have tried for days to take clear pictures but the fish move too much. Maybe you could give me pointers...

Use the flower symbol on your camera settings. Get back from the tank a bit and zoom in to let the focus be easier to get right. Shoot about 50 to 100 pictures and crop the best of them from being an area 8 inches square to one that only shows the fish. In the original picture, the fish was hard to spot because he was so small. If the camera has given you a good enough image, it can be cropped as much as my avatar and you get away with it.

Thanks man. It worked and i had to take 79 pictures to get 4 that actually look presentable. :good:

Well where are they? ;)

I got a good camera to take photo's with, with a manual focus, this helps a lot when doing this sort of thing.
Still with a faster shutter speed you can take photo's while their moving.
Macro mode (flower icon) is a must.
