Crabs

Just out of interest, do tropical freshwater crabs eat fish? Because I saw these crabs at an aquarium and they were in a tank with Gouramis ( I think they were Gouramis )

I feel sorry for the Gouramis if the crabs are aggressive.

They may eat bottom dwellers such as corys or slow moving fish.
They will be oppertunistic.

a friend of mine has some in his tank, and they do try to catch the fish, however they never do,

I`ve just stocked my tank and have two fresh water crabs in there and they demolish my plants more than anything, they tried for the corys once, without any luck though...
