Covering A "cave"

I have grown java moss with just the light from a window, admittily Riccia would be a problem but anyway is you are not happy with the planting disquise then a tube of silicone and cement some gravel rock to it something like what I did to the background in my Nano.

that looks perfect, cheers! :good:

I have a large, clear, plastic "cave" in my fishtank and it isnt very attractive. It is very smooth so i doubt i can cover it with java moss. Also the tank isnt gret for plants (it doesnt have a real light lol)

Is there anything i can use to cover the cave? its about 12"x6" so pretty big. :good:

Just take the cave you have cover it in aquarium safe silicon, once done throw some clean aquarium gravel/sand (what ever you use) on top, leave it to dry, rinse in fresh water and repeat until you cant smell silicon then put in tank.....once this is done you can then use the hairnet and java moss option on top :)

It'd be pretty easy if you got some slate and just siloconed that onto it aswell.

haha im such an idiot. We have a big pile of slate at the bottom on the garden, and i said to my dad "that slate would be perfect... know where i could get some?"

errmm.... the bottom of the garden?
