I would like to have Tetras, Guppies (male), Platys, Mollies, and maybe Zebra Danios

How many of each would you recommend for a 100 litre tank?
(obviousely i will be introducing them in 1 week stages in small amounts of the fishless cycle)

P.s. Abit of a discovery.
I would like to add how grossed out i was when i re visited my LFS today, I saw a fair few dead fish, one in a tank where the others were nipping it in mid water, and i saw tiger barbs dead in the corner, and a betta out of sight dead behind a tube.
A few days ago at my LFS i saw the staff kick up all the mucky water in their tanks, all bits in the water, just swishing it about with fish in .... after that i couldnt see the betta today  a few fish had disapeared by today i wonder why. Not.

for the 1st 6 months 1" per gallon 100 litres is about 25 gallons so 25 inches of fish

personally i wouldnt go for tetras yet a good start would be 10 zebra danios then leave the tank a month. but remeber all tetras well most shoaling species are fin nippers so arent advisable with live bearers unless they not fancy. only make additions in 2-3week periods.

guppys would be a good starting point IMO. a species only tank of tiger barbs would be good but id make sure your tank is a few months old first.

Tiger barbs?? arent those fin nippers
whoops forgot to mention.. i have already 6 guppies and 5 tetras, i would like some more blue neons as they are really sweet and really dont bother my guppies. I had one nasty white and black tetra but the other two are great. It depends really. hmm strange.

Could you give me a rough estimate of how to break it up
so how many of each would you recommend to keep the fish happy?

neons do best in a shoal of 6+ . how long has your tank been setup?

i thought it was a new tank.(for tiger barbs question)

the white and black tetra probably a phantom was being pain becuase he was on his own.

all tetras need to be in a shoal of atleast 6

yes i only have 3 at the moment, all my current fish in my 27 uk litre tank will be moved into the 100 litre tank when it is ready in 1 month.

I will be adding more tetras then they shouldnt be too interested in the guppies.
I have 2 black and white tetras there was just one nasty one.
strange.
The new tank is the big one. The small tank will be a Quarantine tank in a month. the little tank has been cycled and set up for about 2 1/'2 months
About the tiger barbs. im confused.. so they arent suitable for guppies, tetras, zebra danios, mollies, and platys in the 100 litre?

leave the tetras where they are. tetras need a good established tank atleast 4months . so leave the tetras in the 27 litre and get 3 more of the sam type.
and dont buy any more tetras until the 100 litre is atleast 4 months old. live bearers will be fine in the 100 litre and danios are very active fish
