Just wondering, I'm thinking about just adding 1 male and 1 female into my tank (15 or 16 gallon) and get everything to their liking, but. I just wondered if a 15 gallon would be too large for them to breed in, they usually say a 5 gallon

Hi trout_pout :)

If you have a mature pair of corys, and they have been eating plenty of good live or frozen foods to get into breeding condition, and if the circumstances for spawning are right, the size of the tank will not matter to them.

However, if they spawn in a community tank, the chances of the eggs or fry being eaten are very great. I recommend using a separate tank for them to spawn and later for the fry to grow up in.
