Cory Eggs and Cory Fry Hatching

Maybe i will try a different method, I have had Cory fry in the past but not for a long time. These are looking plump now but the tank they are in had an Ich breakout then the culprit Cory decided to die & leave us to sort it out, So guess the heat will stop them spawning for now

I went through that too. May be why it took a few months for them to start spawning.

Well it may be happening for me now, Ive noticed the plump female chasing my old male cory around. They stop for a few mins then start again for a while. Think my male has to stop & get his breath back cos hes 5 years old now

Here we go again...new crop of eggs. Hope these are a good batch. Not sure what happened last time. I disinfected the tank though. Solo is still doing great. Here’s a pic from today.

Im so jealous, Im still waiting for anything to happen. They do the chase thing, Then she chases him they move into position but thats it....Nothing. It happends a few times a day this, Ive fed them up on frozen, i do 2oC water changes every 3rd day. So ive no idea whats happening. The egg carrying female looks ripe to me, Unless shes full of worms??

Remember that I have about 22 cories in my tank . Better odds. If I have trouble with these I’m going to quit! Never had big ssues before. Mine always spawn the day after I clean the tank. I drop the temp about 3 degrees when filling the tank back up.

Yes, Im checking a few times a day. Maybe conditions are not right but i only have 4 Corys, We just cant get any over here. Been looking for the last 6 months but admit ive not looked since xmas time

Update: I only lost about 7 fry this time right after birth. I have over 50 fry this time. Oh, and Solo is still doing great too!

Next time you will lose even less and have more survive. In 12 months you will have thousands, then you can take over the world with your mighty mini Cory army. bwa ha ha ha haaaa.
