Awesome!! I have some 4 day old panda corydoras eggs hatching right now ( originally a batch of 25, which is Huge for one panda cory, so I'll see how many break out successfully. And Mumma just laid another 11, which I've removed from the mop, transferred to a micro-tank with air bubbles, treated with Blue Planet Multi-Cure, and secured inside the big tank to develop safely.
I had to euthanise my other female coryMumma 2 days ago because she received a cut when the boys were chasing her around a new fake plant. It hadn't healed, and despite being isolated & treated with the e Blue Planet multi 3 separate times, she had a hair-like patch of fungus growing over her wound and spreading under her stomach. She was in so much pain.....I cried 😢 😭 while I slowly sedated her with clove oil, removed the fungus to find her plates peeled off, exposing her ribs and inner organs. I placed her back in the solution and she relaxed into pain-free death without me having to end her, thank goodness. She was a little trouper, and so is the other pandaMumma.
The next morning, I got up to find one of my boys had died with no visible cause. So 2 out of 8 gone in 2 days. Sucks and I'm really sad, so the new babies are great news. And I'll have to replace my other coryMumma, as it's now 5:1 M/F ratio, which is too hard for the one I have left. I'll take her out and put her into my QT tank for a rest and re-condition break - she needs it, as the boys are really competitive while spawning, so she's been knocked around twice in the last 4 days.
But enough about the "PandaMonium", Lol!
Congratulations and all the very best for your baby Albinos!!🤗🤗
