so it's a 50 usg tank. Quite a few would say it's to small for a CBB.

the gramma's could be threatening it as well as the tomato clowns...those things get nasty as they age.
Angels ususally don't take to kindly to new tankmates, not sure about the puffer, though.

How long have you had the CBB? Did you plop it right in the tank or QT it?

Also do you know what location the fish is from?

Agree with KJ here, difficult fish for sure, especially in a crowded 50g tank. They really do much better in something more like 100g... As they're a somewhat skittish fish, I wouldn't be that surprised if it's being spooked by other fish during feeding time and just isn't interested.

Actually All the fish are actually quite scared of her and I didnt quarantine because any fish I quarantine seems to die and the less stress the better I think

A CBB is a fish that I would rather not QT since it is so delicate.

I'd say it's the tankmates and I'd take it back to the lfs.

U will not believe this well u might I got her to feed sge has been out all day my mum says because I was at school and I put some mysis in with garlic and vitamins and some fell to the floor and she got some in her mouth and rigourasly was eating it lol so I put some brineshrimp with garlic and she was opening and closing her mouth chewing it I think anyway she fed :good:

i believe there is the theory that garlics smell engourages fish to feed, thus making them eat more and fighting off whitespot with sheer willpower! others believe that garlic disguises the fishes smell so the parasite dosent reconise the host, i cant remeber which ones right but maybe both. anyways good news ay! :good:

Garlic is fine in fresh water but try not to use it too often with marine fish...some would even now say never!!!..It damages their liver and kidneys over time and can drastically shorten their lives...

I used garlic extract garlic guard and fish vits (vitamins)

Where did you find this information? I've been researching and used to think the same way, but can't find any substantiated studies.

About the first 9 or so posts are all about the same guy with ich problems. Good read :good:

by the way, I now feed garlic Xtreme to my fish. I wish I had it sooner...maybe could have saved my female picasso clown....
