well this would be my first im sorry if this is the place and if its in the wrong format x) anyways i have a established fish tank and i have a male and female convict and other one i belive to be male but then again it has little bit of orange and looks similar to the female so idk but the female i have is colored with orange so i know shes is a she and the male has no orange whats so ever anyways the male chases the female away but kinda sorta gets along with the unknown gender , would that mean the unknow is a female? ive been trying to breed them and im sorry if this is confusing >.< advice would be great

From what I know about convicts, the males may have hues of blue on thier fins and stuff but if there is any shade of orange yellow or red on the belly, its a female. I could be wrong though, I haven't had many convicts. It sounds likes he has paired with the potential female, and if thats the case he will more than likely murder your other female, so I'd have a back up plan ready :)
