Hello there! Rookie fish dad here and have a few questions. I bought a breeding pair (had no clue they were opposite sex) of convicts three months ago. Woke up one morning and had probably a hundred fry on top of a rock, with a FIERCELY defensive mama and papa. I immediately bought a tank divider (55 gallon) and separated the little family from the rest of my cichlids. I feed all of my fish bloodworms and beef heart and they LOVE it. I was just wondering if there was anyone out there with some tips, tricks and advice for me. Babies are doing just fine and growing like weeds. Thanks in advance!

Your problem will come when you need to get rid of them. Unless US is different from UK, you'll find there is not much of a market for convicts.
