Hey! :) Do you have any idea of the type of system you're looking to keep? There are several different types -
Fish only (ie, just fish :D)
Fish only with live rock (FOWLR, this is a tank with fish, using live rock as the main filtration)
Reefs (Ie, liverock and corals - It does not neccessarily need fish, but most people put them in :D)

Reefs are arguably the hardest to keep, Fish only systems arguably the easiest.

Untill you can give us a few details like that so we can give some more in depth advice, I suppose the general things you would need are:

A nice, large sum of money you're willing to spend :D
A tank (which I see you have!)
Aquarium grade salt,
And most importantly of all the willingness and capacity to learn everything you'll need to learn. It's alot of work, but worth it - I'm in the process of setting up my first marine tank, and for a first time tank there's alot to learn! :D There are stickies and FAQs around the forum, also any search engine is a brilliant place to look for articles.

I understand by converting you already keep tropicals? If so, Marine holds some elements true to tropical, but most are different. It's not so much that it's harder to keep marine than tropical, but the hardware requirements are higher and you have to be deadly careful with the tank.

Hope that helped! :D

fanx alot. Im looking at keeping smallish and wierd fish and rocks...maybe a lil coral or reef aswell. Im willing to learn as much as I can....

If you want to learn, read all the pins and FAQs in the marine section. This should give you pretty much all the information you need to get you started.
