are these fish all right to go in a communial tank ,with the likes of neons pleck platties or not ,any info thanks ,and oh merry xmas to all on this great forum

Congos as my favorite of all tetras although I don't have any. They are perfectly fine in a community tank with other peaceful fish. They do grow a little larger than other tetras and are active, fast swimmers so they need plenty of room. Here is the link to he profile on them.

im a bit confused now as the ones i have look nothing like the ones in the link picture,mine have red bellys and a red tail and look a bit more rounder,is there different types or has the bloke in the shop gave me the wrong name,thanks for any help

They aren't bloodfin tetras are they? How long are they? A photo would definitely help ID them.

yes thats them mate ,your spot on he didnt know what he was selling did he ,thats unusual for some one thats srlling fish isnt it ,so will these fish be ok in a communial tank or not mate ,thanks for your help and merry xmas to you
