Just hypothetical for now, I have lots of female bettas and a pair of dwarf gourami that get on absolutely fine, what would happen if they were mixed with some angels and a severum? Take no notice of signature, it's just a question ;)

the severum could grow really big and eat the female bettas.
nothing and they all live happily ever after.
the severums pair up and kill the angels before eating the female bettas.
the angels turn psycho and kill the severums before eating the female bettas.

sorry got a theme going here and don't want to stop killing female bettas :)
If they grow up together and don't eat each other they will be fine as long as there is room for the adult severums and angels.

Ahhh cos I thought severums were gentle like discus don't eat neons for example
So what if I had the severum and the angels from 2-3 months old?

And also, my female bettas don't bother with my gourami's long fins so I guess they won't bother with the angels either?

in fact most fish will eat neons. I have even seen young boesemani rainbows hunting a school of cardinals and neons in a tank. The boesemani split into two groups and one group went went around each side of the neon/cardinal school. Then they ripped into them.

Severums are generally pretty good but there is always one or two that behave out of character. If they are grown up with small fishes then they are usually better behaved. If they are big and added to a tank with small fish they often eat them.
