Hey so I have a 36 gallon tank fully cycled for 4 months w/an Angelfish and a Pleco in it. I wanted to add more fish, so is this list okay for the tank?

1-2 Angelfish
1-2 Cory Cat
3 Black Phantom Tetra
3 Skirt Tetra
4 Bleeding Heart Tetra
4 Bloodfin Tetra

what kind of angels are you looking at as most types will consider some of those tetra food?

Well I am thinking of just keeping the angelfish i have due to the fact it is doing okay on its own but i am not sure the type. But is all those fish compatible?

i'd say yes except for the angel as it'll probably get to big

I'd also try to keep more than 2 corys aswell. A small shoal around 5/6 would work really well; thats if your tank is big enough. You may also want to think about keeping yout tetras in a small shoal as well. Hope that helps.

I agree about the angel. And what kind of pleco do you have? If it's a common pleco it will reach a foot or more in length.

All those tetras should be in groups of 6 or more, and so should any cory cats. Plus, cories need a sand substrate for them to be at their best.

All those Tetras will be okay with the Angels as they are all the disk type tetras rather than the torpedo shaped ones like Neons and Rummy Nose.

You need to keep them all in groups of at least 6 though and the same for the Cories which would work fine with the tank But as said the Pleco if its a common will grow wayyy too big for the tank.

Oh okay thank you! The Pleco is called a Rubber Lipped Pleco and when it gets too big I have a friend that will gladly take it!

I got 2 cories and 3 skirt tetras today. I plan on adding 3 more skirt tetras and one more Cory to the tank by next week. Does that sound okay?

You would be fine to add more than that if the tanks been going for a few months now The Rubber Lip plec will be fine in that tank Good choice

When adding new fish I would add them like groups of 6 of one and then 6 of the other. Dont worry about adding to much to the tank at once your way under. I think given what you have done so far I would add 3 Skirt Tetras and 4 Cories next
