I wouldn't put bolivians with bettas, I had a female with mine and they fought all day long, had to remove the betta as it got battered.

+1 usually most cichlids arent compatible with bettas

i was going to substitute the cichlids for the betas not sure yet tho

those little freshwater flounders are cool lol

they are pretty cool. if it were me, and i really wanted to base my tank around the flounders, i would go with smaller, cooler fish. maybe some peacock gundgeons, some badis, small gobies, and maybe a school of threadfin rainbows.
