Coconut Cave

OK so i've seen these coconut cave about so i think 'that can't be too hard to make...' coconut ready, drill ready, saw ready... drilling the holes was pretty tough, so i brought out my so called diamond edged drill bits, supposed to drill through anything, any way start drilling one hole, two holes... get to about th fifth hole the drill bit snaps in half and straight into my hand! so now i've got a thumb with a drill hole through the nail bleeding like crazy and an index finger with another hole.

i've manaed to stop the bleeding, i'll tell you what it didn't hurt at the time but now it's really starting to ache...

It's funny but at the same time pretty painful.

oh yeah i finished the coconut cave, pictures available on request... (the cave and the hand )

Was just thinking of making one of these myself but now i think i'll maybe just buy one :L
although wud love to see the cave pictures, not the hand tho i dont like blood lol.

You dont need to drill holes, they already have 3 soft holes in the top, just puncture them with the screwdriver and hammer, drain out the juice then cut it in half and scrape out the coconut. Job done, no DIY nightmares

i've got one of them 'fake'e looking coves i bought for my green terrors in my community tank for my panda corys but it looks stupid imo
so ur bloody cave cove will prob look alot better haahahah
