Sorry for being unclear with my last post. What I actually ment is that I had the cockatoo's in the 10 gal but moved them to the 40 gal. (a bit OT the neons etc in my 10gal when they bother to schoal everybody happily schoals together)

I must admit I know almost nothing about the gold barbs, but they are pretty and all female and only cost 45 cents each (I figured at that price they'd make a great large schoal of dither fish)

As far as the kribs go except for the albino I have 4 juvies (cost me a dollar each from the breeder :D ) and I'm mainly waiting for them to mature before I fully decide where they go (when I got them they where to young to easily sex so I grabbed 4 hoping for a pair and ditch (give away that is) the other 2, then I saw my albino and to have him, havnt decided yet if I stick with the original 1 pair idea or up it to 2)

I added an extra cave this evening, will add the others when I get to the garden shop again. I observed that tank for an hour or so and he always had his dorsal fin erect so I guess hes getting more confident, still hiding most of the time though. I'm gonna grab some more plants tomorrow so that should help as well (anybody know how well they like dwarf grass, I might make sure I grab some if they do)

Also how picky are they for temp? This tank doesnt have a heater yet (Sunny Brisbane B) , our day winter daytime temps are fine for keeping and great during the day but its starting to get cold at night, sometimes even down to 13 or 14 degrees C  ), I can steal a heater from another tank if needs be. BTW most of our tanks without heaters turned on (only had them on in the tanks that need warmer temps eg constant 28C ) have been averaging between 22 and 24 C.
