presurized co2 system.

Okay cool. As I said TPN+ seems to be the best liquid fertilizer in liquid form on the market. I dose easycarbo also. You may wish to consider this too.

As said above, if you really want your plants to do well, lots of ferilizer and get pressurized co2.

thanks, i'm not looking to spend loads, as i can't afford it

Didnt see that, liquid carbon is your best bet then, easycarbo is good.

does tpn have traces of copper? i have shrimp and that would be bad

I believe it does, but I can recall reading that its a trace amount that wont have any effect. I dose it and Ive got amano shrimp and they are fine. Have been for a while so it should be okay

Remember if you do get it, get the + version, it contains nitrogen and phosphorus too.

Yeah, the amount of copper in TPN doesn't harm shrimp. I would agree with everything James has said, you will notice a great deal of difference with the both of these products.

just a thought tpn+ is qiute exspensive i wonder how it stacks up to pressurized co2 beth put the size of your tank on here and the monthly cost of doseing tpn+ maybe on of the more experienced co2 users could work out what it costs to dose that would be intresting comparison .

From what I understand I think all them plants would do well with the TPN+ and the easycarbo. They are said to be low lught plants, so there wouldnt be a need for co2. I think try the procudts I mentioned and see how you go :good:

TPN+ and pressurized co2 are completely different. I think you are referring to the easycarbo? In which case, that all depends on attitude and budgets  Obviously tank size will come into it. Depending on your plant stocking, you would probably dose 5/6ml of each product daily.

i've ordered easycarbo, 500mls, for £9........think that is a bargain!

I'll get the tpn+ next week, once my bank account recovers
