Clown Loach Problems

I have had 4 clown loach now for around 3-4 weeks and no problems. I came home from work last night to find 2 of them dead and all 4 have white spot. I have no idea what has caused this. I do regular water changes and the readings are ok. Temp around 78. I have used some white spot remedy last night and the bottle advises another dose in 58 hours. Any advice apreciated.

Clown loaches are known to be very prone to whitespot. Check your water parameters.

Also remember that loaches and salt are not compatible. Do remember that the large water change which is normally instructed on medication will aid treatment a too.
