probably the easiest way is to use the report tab on the bottom left of the window and then fill in the message saying you have been advised to move into the emergencys section a moderator should pick it up quite quickly they usually do

I have done it for you :good:

Have the exact same problem at the minute after rehoming my clowns and then changing my mind  :grr:

I've been half dosing with sterazin every other day for about a week but still catch them flicking every now and then. Upped to a 3/4 dose tonight, so if all is still alive in the morning then I'll carry on at that and see how it goes from there.

#40## yoyo loaches passed it on, wish I'd never got them! That's pets @ home fish for you!!

I have emailed waterlife and asked if sterazin is safe at full dose will post the result im leavin the treatment till i find out more about it unless the fish are really bad, were ur clowns flicking badly then mate

Also i hear if u leave ur tank dark when treatin parasites its more efective, only some parasites though,i think lol,jj

Did ur fish survive the 3/4 dose and any inprovement in the clowns

Aye everything in the tank seems fine today, alive at least anyway. Haven't really looked at it much to see any flicking as I've not long put the lights on and been busy with other stuff. Will sit and watch for flicking later on

And thats sterazin by waterlife mate!,have u finished the course, its 10 days init,10 days with no waterchange seems a bit long ??

Ideally if you're not going to be water changing for that long then you don't really want to be feeding. They would be fine for 2 weeks without food or if you're worried then you could feed minimally to keep waste and the like down.

I carried on with 3/4 doses and things have definately improved. Although I do have to add that I was doing 30% water changes once a week still so maybe that evened out the dosage. :good:

How big are the clown loaches as the tanks to small for 8 of them.

What test kit are you using.

Signs of flukes are.
Opaque body with excess slime.
Red inflamed gills, or pale gills with excess slime.
Flicking and rubbing.
Darting, erratic swimming.
Laboured breathing, or gasping.
Sores on the body of the fish.
Weight loss.
Spitting food out.
Swimming in a jerky movement.
