Hi' all ,

I've noticed my clown loach sometimes rubs its side accross the sand , is this common for the loach or is it possible there is something wrong with it . It seems fine as in it's eating fine and kinda shoaling with the larger ciclid's i have in the tank so wont be lonely.

Just checking all is good .

Cheers Ben

is there any way to tell ? i can't see anything on the fish like no marks. should i treat it for ich anyways to be on the safe side? or will it have adverse affect on the healthy fish. i thought it might just be part of the behaviour as it's a strange fish.

Look at oldman47's signature, thers a real good link to ich and different types of parasites.
