I have a 14 inch clown knife and hes an odd one he only takes pellet food which is the floating cichlid pellets and sinking catfish pellets, hes been like that over a year and doesn;t take any lancefish or prawn that goes in for other fish in the tank
Thats in contrast to one I had over 10 yrs ago that used to eat tons of lancefish and grew quicker than the one I have now
amazing fish and the one fish in my tank that I intend to work around I;ve always wanted a full grown specimen
Mines actually very tolerable of some smaller fish in the tank such as silver dollars although I wouldn;t normally recomend any smaller fish in the tank its just that mine is a hotch potch of dfferent fish at the moment as a lot of mine are for sale due to selling some tanks
