Hello everyone I'm back on the forum my old tanks went with the ex girlfriend and I now have a new tank a little 27 litre tank and been set up with water and tapsafe and there is a milky tint to the water ... Slih&tly confused as this has never happened to me before ... Please help and can you give me your best advice. :)

Welcome back, and sorry about your old tank :/
 
It's a bacterial bloom.
 
Nothing to worry about and it will go away on it's own, or you can help it along with some large water changes.
 
Unfortunately, it's not the same bacteria as we want in our filters, so if you're cycling your tank it won't help!

It sounds like it is a bacterial bloom which is perfectly normal in a newly set up tank.
 
I'm not sure whether or not you know about cycling but either way, have a read of the cycling link in my signature. It has some very useful information in it and and it was recently written. :)
 
What are you planning to stock in your tank?
