Cloudy Eyed +bodied Cories

yeh i cant really show it from a good agle because as soon as i get near the tank they dart away but its just different to when they normally stay around the same area for a while barely moving but now nearly all seem to wobble their heads and tails from side to side

Do they tend to hang around near the surface of the tank a lot? Do they have white/stringy looking poop at all?

not since i first got them months ago, until they seemed dodgey a couple of days ago and hang around the top when not feeding time which they don't usuallly do, no white poo though

Hm, well i would put in the extra filter and see how things go- until the fish show any more symptoms in particular, i can't really say what they have.

Are they breathing rapidly at all? Do their gills look inflamed/sore looking at all?

no they are making it difficult to see whats wrong apart from what i said before about the whitening around some of their fins and a few 'wobbleing when swimming' and a few staying at the surface more than normal but the gills look fine, no signs of redness or inflamation but i will keep this updated if there is any developments and the spare filter is now in aswell, cheers for your help.

If there's whitening around the fins, its probably the start of finrot, i would treat the tank with Pimafix to help catch any potential finrot the fish have early on :good: .

i have been treating with melafix for the nearly a week and on the bottle it says i can use pimafix as a secondary treatment if all symptoms have not subsided which they havent so i was wondering if any1 knows how long i shud leave treatment before i treat with pimafix or after a big (50%ish) water change would suffice to be able to change the medication as it doesn't say on the bottle.

Update: Igot back from the download festival monday afternoon to find the wobbleing molly and some molly fry missing and later found out they died just the day before i got back, the remaining panda cory still looks as bad as it did before i left even though they have been treated with melafix so i am giving pimafix a chance as there seems to be some very slight fungus on 2 of the guppy fry, hope this finally cures the little buggers
