Well you just have to keep giving it time, separating things out and seeing if one of them seems to be it and staying open to other ideas. Sorry it hasn't resolved yet. WD

Thanks...but an update. Within the last 3-4 days, the tank has got better and better. Until now...crystal clear. I did remove the rocks and cleaned them in boiling water with a small stiff brush. There was algae on them.
Left them out for 2 days, all back in now and cleared up. Thanks again for all your invaluable help.
