Clear Slime On My Bogwood

I bought a piece of bogwood on Sunday and it has been in my tank for 2 days, yet already there is a clear film of slime all over the top of it!

It's not on any other pieces, I have it soaking in hot water at the moment and I'll try and scrape it off, what could it be to grow that quickly?!

It no doubt will, but i think it will stay for a wee while - so best take the wood out, give it a quick scrub and put it back. It'll stop soon
