Cleaning A Tank.. Help!

Hello, I have just sold a tank and would like to give it a really good clean before they collect it.

Could you tell me what I could clean the inside of the tank with, which will not harm the next persons fish? Thanks

I have cleaned the outside with Mr Sheen and glass cleaner

Maybe some vinegar and water solution. Make sure you rinse it out well. I used to use it as a glass cleaner at work when we didn't want to use harsh chemicals, works well.

I agree with the vinegar... dilute a bit if needed. Just be sure to rinse it well... You can also use a straight edge razor blade along with the vinegar to help remove algae and hard water stains. Just run it slowly along the glass. If the tank is acrylic, do not use the razor blade.

Looks much better now, thanks! It didn't have any algae, just a water line at the top of the tank. Cheers
