Clean ?

My tank seems to have little bits (Food & Bob) floating around and looks really ugly! They are really small but i hate them! Does this mean i'm putting too much food in ?

Well over feeding may be one factor in the problem, but there could be other issues as well...

1) What kind of filtration are you using, and how often do you rinse your filter pads?
2) How often are you doing water changes?
3) How often and how well do you gravel vac?

FLUVAL 3+ , I clean the filters,Water change and vac every 2 weeks

Make sure that when you feed your fish you only feed what they can eat in about 1 min.

try upgrading you filter......also remove all rocks and plants,have a swirl round obviously not vig.....then syphon al the crap out or as much as you can

Ive just done a 60% water change!

Just wondered how long can you leave your filter off for ? wanted to leave it for a while , leave it to settle

There's no point leaving the filter off for the debris to settle, you need the filter to take it out of the water. When you say you clean the filter every two weeks, what do you do?. The 3+ is a pretty good internal; I had the 4+ on a 4ft tank and never had any complaints with it. What size is your tank?. A lot of questions, I know.

Take the filter out, clean the pads in tank water. 20 gall.....

I have one Plec and I only give him half an algae wafer cus my keyholes also eat it.
