Nice pics Matt. The video's great too. That Firemouth looks like it is going to be the instigator of some fights before long... haha.

Rainbows are looking great too.

Tanks fantastic Matt! :good:

The new tank lighting set up is giving great results mate. What sand do you have in there? I currently have Argos play sand in mine but want to change to a darker one.

they are looking great mate :good: mine are very similar in colouration, maybe not quite as yellow/green yet but my pictures never come out as well as yours have. also my LED light seems to be quite different to the usual T8 etc and isnt quite as bright....

what size are they now?

also what water parameters are they in?

are you finding their growth quite slow too?

Yeah they grow very slow. We discuss these in Sweden and mine seem to grow the most., The largest I have is 16 centimeters. And the rest just above 10. I keep them in a 936 tank and pH 6,5 with kH5. No adjustments just as if becomes by itself.

I change 30% or a bit more every week. I feed them with tetra discus and NLS and tropical vegetarian medium pellets. Also some mysis ( a small shrimp I catch in the Stockholm archipelago Great food)

i think our fish must be of a very similar size then as mine vary from about 4.5 inches - 6 inches. ive had them just over a year now and they were about an inch an a half when i first got them.

they seem to take any food offered from dry foods - frozen products - live insects - fresh tilapia pieces, so not fussy eaters at all. mine are still a bit skittish when the tank is approached but if you sit infront of the tank quite still they will come out and explore happily. do you find this with yours at all?

Mine are not skittash at all actually but really always at the front looking at what is happening outside. I try to take pictures when they just go about doing their stuff but as soon as I get closer with the camera they move towards me begging for food I assume!

Otherwise I agree mine are also eating just about anything some other guys in Sweden have some issues with getting them to eat, not sure why.
