My boyfriend has asked if there's anything I want for my tank, but it can't be something boring like the spare heater I want, the new filter I wanted back along, it has to be something exciting. So, since I'm never going down the ornament route, I can't think of anything else.

I have spent far far too much money on fish items this year so I will settle for an X Box with the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare

Ha new xbox is a yes but I would not get modern warfare is parp, after spending 40 on the game itself then cod elite for an extra 35 squids I found the hard way! get battlefield 3 far better! haha thread jack complete

Ohh that is the second person who said Battlefield 3 is better. Hmm I may have to rethink my plans...

I'm gonna be asking for gift cards for petstores rather than having people buy the stuff for me I need a new heater and filter for my 20 gallon, but none of my family members really know much about that stuff, my aunt is in to fish keeping, but with her fresh water tanks she still uses very old school methods to tank maintenance, like rinsing the filters out with tap water and replacing them once a month. And then she has a big 90 gallon salt water which she hires somebody to do maintenance for her.

My older brother always gets peeved whenever do maintenance, he says that if the water is clear,I don't have to change it. God forbid I let him get anything for the tank.

I've got a feeling that if I asked for live plants and such for my 37 and the new heater and filter for my 20, I'd end up with another one of those easily broken fluval M's or top fins since they're cheaper, and a little 10 dollar filter which the current one could probably out do (even though it's like 20 years old)

I know they'd have good intentions, but these are my fish, and if people are going to buy things for them for me, then I'd have supervise them in the store to be comfortable with it. I'm usually not a fan of gift cards, but in this case, that's what I want.
