Christmas?

Anyone asking any of their loved ones to get them fish stuff?
Or is there anything on your list that you would Love to get for your tank and only get it on a special occasion (christmas) ?

I have asked for pets at home vochers so i can get a few plants and things - hopefully my tank will be finished come new year

pressurized CO2 (FE one) i even linked my mum onto the plant resource centre on here ;p so she gets the right thing =]

I don't trust any one to buy the correct things for the fish tank, or my garden. I am always very specific about these types of things. This year, the in-laws have been told that a check with a note on the memo line for [insert name of store here] is sufficient for me. They like to buy gift cards, but the store I want the dining room furniture from doesn't do gift cards. So, I am going the old "check" route with them and will buy the correct piece myself. (THey aren't funding the full purchase, just giving me a good head start on affording it.) My wife is actually the one that wants these pieces of furniture, but I want a happy wife, so I guess that makes the gift for me too!

sounds good =] my aunts used to give me gift cards. i dont like them. id prefer money ;p i dont know to much about the pressurized co2 anyway. only what iv read up on. on here =] so my mum would be in the same boat as me if she read it, i think they wouldn't dare get me any fish or anything else to be honest. just incase its the wrong thing. last xmas they got me a 20l tank. and by new years i managed to get hold of a 120L one ;p (the 20L's still in use though)

My daughter wants a fish tank for her room. You know, one of those horrid pink plastic things, with fish, pink gravel and a spongebob character. She's 9, I really don't know if I should use the mature media from one of my tanks or let her learn the process of fishless cycle, but I think it may be best to use the mature media as its Christmas.

OOO P@H vouchers is a good idea. Cept I don't really like to buy from them. But I wonder if the LFSs I DO like do vouchers.

My lfs does vouchers, I've asked for some with a view to getting more plants. Problem is my mum doesn't think that's a 'proper' present so I might miss out!

Ha new xbox is a yes but I would not get modern warfare is parp, after spending 40 on the game itself then cod elite for an extra 35 squids I found the hard way! get battlefield 3 far better! haha thread jack complete
