While moving around some wood in my tank this morning I accidentally chipped one of my apple snails who was sleeping in a crevace in a piece of wood 
It's a small'ish chip at the edge of the snail's house opening. Guesstimated at 2 by 3 mm perhaps. A arced shape with no visible rough edges.
The snail moves around like nothing happened (pretty sure she will be fine, hence why I didn't post in emergencies section). Still feel bad for chipping her though
My question is, will it grow back because the chip is at the edge of new growth?
