So before I took over of parents 46 gallon tank my dad bought two of these lovely fish. Not knowing how big they get. Now before they get two big, they are only about four inches, I need to catch them. The lfs said he would take them. However that is proving easy said then done. Any tips, other then taking everything out of the tank and freaking my other fish out.

Not really. If you lower the tank water level a lot. Have a net stationary and hopefully guide the fish in with another net. You might still have to take what is in your tank out unfortuanely. cheers

Good luck getting them out. Like bullit said, lowering your water column to a few inches is the easiest way. If you use 2 nets you may be able to corner them one at a time. Once you finally net them, be careful as they are capable of jumping out of the net onto the floor.
