Cherry Barbs Wont Eat

i have 7 cherry barbs in my tank along with a bottom feeder and a blue crayfish

i had regualr tropical fish flakes that i tried feeding the barbs and the would eat it then spit it out
so i went out and got a new food in a kind of pellet form and i feed it to them but they only eat certian lil specs no one can tell me what they fed them at the store so i dont want to go buy more food that they wont eat

You could try starving them for a day-that often makes them less picky and more hungry for whats on offer. Mine only like very small flake though.

ya i have tried crushing the flakes up but it kina works but they seem to not notice the food
