I picked up some clear Ammonis at Wal-Mart today so I can cycle the tank for the first time. I have been to many stores and this is the best or only good bottle I have found but it has something called chelating agent in it.

Softened water, Ammonia and chelating agents

That is the only 3 things listed. Anyone know if this is ok?

The ammonia I buy doesn't list any ingredients because it's pure ammonia. Does it suds up when you shake the bottle?

No, no foam but I tested it straight and the test kit didn't really turn colors much.... It is "True Value Brand" Ammonia.

I get mine at Fleet Farm, just down the road a-piece. Do you have Fleet Farm in your area? Don't know where you're at...

I wasn't asking where he got his. I understood where he got his from. He asked me where I got mine, and I told him.

Yes, pretty much all purple around the label
